The Devon Tradition Project will enable access to the work of two Devon Folk song collectors, spanning two centuries with the songs of hundreds of individuals.

The Baring-Gould folk song manuscripts and the Paul Wilson audio collection have been digitised to ensure their preservation and enable widespread public access.

On its completion, the project will bring a wealth of traditional music into the public domain, and help people to engage with their cultural heritage, inspiring creativity on a wide scale and providing a stimulus for a new understanding of the history of Devon.

The main project is now finished but we still have volunteers collating the Paul Wilson audio collection
